LICET has two eateries- a Canteen and a Kiosk
The LIET Café, provides enough varieties at affordable rates to keep its students satiated. LICET Café is visited by students for sumptuous food items.
The Kiosk offers light food items like puff, cold coffee, etc
The College has its own mineral water RO plant.
Also, there is a Food Court at the Loyola Arts & Science Campus.
At LICET, we do not confine to academics alone. We believe in holistic formation, giving due importance to sport sand games. We endeavour to aid in the overall development of each individual. This includes physical fitness, mental fitness, team spirit and discipline. We encourage our students to pursue excellence in their chosen sports, providing the required infrastructure.
Sports infrastructure at LICET comprises of outdoor and indoor games. We have well maintained outdoor fields for cricket, Football, Basket ball, Volleyball, Tennis. We have indoor facility for shuttle & Table Tennis. We also have a gym, indoor.
LICET Library established in the year 2010 and it serves the students and teaching fraternity of the LICET. The Central library has a collection of about 31937 books while the department library has 9921 volumes of book. Nearly 2500 books are reference books (Handbooks, Dictionaries, Encyclopedias, etc.). The library also has 1285 CDs/DVDs and subscribes to 55 printed journals and E- Journals like IEEE, ASME, Springer, Elsevier Science Direct etc. The library has been actively meeting the needs of the students and faculty members.
Medical Facility : We have "Apollo Shine" as a medical facility for students. This is a First aid cum diagnosis center. An experienced female nurse would be available on all working days.The nurse will advice us for further treatment, if required, after consulting the concerned doctor in Apollo. They are also committed to give preventive measures by the annual check up of students and some precautions for special cases like diabetics etc.
Insurance : We have insured the students in National Insurance, a public sector undertaking. The Policy Name is " Group Personal Accident" and the description of the policy is "Accidental Death Cover for the Students for a Sum of Rs.2,00,000/- per student and Medical Expenses arising out of Accident for the Students for a Sum of Rs.1,00,000/- per Student". This policy is applicable anywhere in India.
LICET is easily accessible by train and bus service. In addition, the college has made arrangements to run buses through important routes in and around Chennai. This transport facility is to ensure that our students are able to reach the college in time and with ease.
In addition to the buses, the College owns an Innova car and a Mahendra Gypsy. Renault has been kind enough to gift two Duster cars for carrying out research work at LICET.
